Private Markets Square — Edition #5 | Special Edition: Financial Education Week

  • 19 mars
  • 4 min de lecture

On the occasion of Financial Education Week, we wanted to dedicate this edition of Private Markets Square to a topic that seems central to the future of our industry: education.

Private assets now occupy an increasingly important place in allocation thinking. They address diversification, long-term horizon, performance seeking and exposure to the real economy. But their development at greater scale still faces a well-known challenge: understanding remains too often limited by technical complexity, lack of clear benchmarks, and the absence of content genuinely designed for wealth management professionals.

It is precisely to address this challenge that we are launching AirFund Academy.

Our conviction is simple: the democratization of private markets will not pass only through technology, the quality of structuring or the fluidity of subscription processes. It will also require a collective capacity to better explain, better contextualize and better transmit.

In this special edition, we present this new initiative, a focus on MCF Access Feeder, the latest news on Capital Dynamics Mid-Market VI, as well as our upcoming events in the wealth management ecosystem.

Special Focus — AirFund Academy: A New Step in the Democratization of Private Assets

With the launch of AirFund Academy, AirFund opens a new chapter in its development: that of structured education, conceived not as a complement, but as a strategic lever for the distribution of private assets.

The ambition of AirFund Academy is clear: to offer a simple, credible and useful framework to help wealth management professionals better understand private markets, structure their discourse and gain confidence in accompanying their clients.

The first season, "Understanding Private Markets", was designed with this spirit in mind. It takes the form of a series of 19 short episodes, organized around 5 modules, to offer a clear progression: understanding the role of unlisted assets, mastering the key building blocks of private equity, private debt and infrastructure, grasping major strategies, reading investment vehicles, and refining the selection and analysis of funds.

This format choice is deliberate. In an environment where attention is fragmented and the need for operational education is strong, we prioritize content that is short, precise and accessible — but rigorous in substance. AirFund Academy does not aim to oversimplify. It aims to make things intelligible.

Education Designed for the Field

Beyond videos, AirFund Academy has been conceived as a genuine working environment for wealth management professionals. The goal is not only to provide knowledge, but to supply directly usable tools in daily practice: better presenting the logic of private assets, better explaining the differences between strategies, better positioning vehicles, and better accompanying allocation decisions.

This approach rests on a simple idea: unlisted assets should not remain a subject reserved for a few specialists. They should become an asset class that one knows how to explain with clarity, method and discernment. AirFund Academy therefore emphasizes directly actionable formats: pedagogical benchmarks, comparisons, operating diagrams, reading grids and analysis tools.

Fund Insights — MCF Access Feeder: Capturing the Structural Growth of the Healthcare Sector

In this edition, we also highlight MCF Access Feeder, structured with MATA Capital as AIFM, a fund investing in ARCHIMED's strategies — a global actor entirely dedicated to healthcare investment.

Healthcare is one of the rare investment universes that combines structural depth, long-term visibility and multiple value creation drivers: demographic aging, medical innovation, the rise of diagnostic technologies, digitalization of care pathways, and the transformation of pharmaceutical services.

MCF Access Feeder offers an exposure built around a diversified approach, combining primary funds, co-investments and continuation funds, with a deliberate bias towards established, profitable or high-growth companies, in a profitable LBO/growth logic, without venture exposure. The spectrum covered is broad: MedTech, diagnostics, pharma services, health software, biopharma tools, consumer health and animal health.
